Sierra Madre is an exploratory album that arises from a shared interest in collecting sounds, and the mutual curiosity to experiment with a software that we had been looking at from afar for a long time. Within the extensive artistic collaboration between the two, the discussion on how the design of the creation and production tools outline or condition the final product crosses several of the shared works that ask in what way, to what extent and under what conditions this mediation is perceived in the result.
In order to - in this case - look for some possible, concrete and sonorous answers, we got down to work pouring ideas, sounds, patterns and processes into this software and began to interact with some possible results that the platform returned.

The exchanges between the musics, the simultaneity of their creation and their common purpose makes this album both a work and a documentation of a learning process, and gives it a particular sense of complementarity between the musics, as if they were taking care of each other.

Sierra Madre es un disco de exploración que surge a partir del interés compartido por coleccionar sonidos, y por la mutua curiosidad de experimentar con un software que desde hace tiempo mirábamos de lejos. Dentro de la extensa colaboración artística entre ambos, la discusión sobre cómo el diseño de las herramientas de creación y producción perfilan o condicionan el producto final atraviesa varios de los trabajos compartidos que se preguntan de qué forma, en qué medida y en qué condiciones se percibe esta mediación en el resultado.
Para - en este caso - buscar algunas respuestas posibles, concretas y sonoras pusimos manos a la obra derramando ideas, sonidos, patrones y procesos en ese software y comenzamos a interactuar con algunos resultados posibles que la plataforma devolvía.

Los intercambios entre las músicas, la simultaneidad de su creación y su propósito común hace que este álbum sea a la vez obra y documentación de un proceso de aprendizaje, y le da un sentido de complementariedad particular entre las músicas, como si unas cuidaran de las otras.
